17 yr. old has been wearing hearing aids since k. and they both broke this past week.He has one loaner for now but needs both hearing aids and he doesn’t qulify for any programs that I have found

I purchased a Rexton Regatta, 1 1/2 years ago & they have been breaking alot, so therefore I am in the market again for hearing aides. I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that would tell me a hearing aids durability level so this doesn’t happen again. All I can find so far is websites that sell hearing aides & “Positive” reviews on whatever they happen to sell.

I wear hearing aids in each ear and I’m interested in joining the military, what are their restrictions?

Doesn’t Medicare or AARP or someone regulate selling expensive health instruments like digital hearing aids by Hearing Planet? What if senior citizens bought pacemakers the same way, then had to wait months and it wasn’t up to standards, then went to some contracted salesman to put it in? That’s what Hearing Planet does. In our situation, they sent grandma to an unlicensed person who wasn’t even an “audiologist” like Hearing Planet told us. Now what can we do?

I work with a gal that has a disabled husband and she is in need of new hearing aids, which from what I understand cost around $4,000. She lives in Georgia. Is there anywhere she can apply for assistance to help with the cost? We work in a doctors office and are on the phone alot. Someone please help.

My grandmother is thinking about spending $2300 for a hearing aid. Miracle Ear is the brand that she is looking at. Is there a website that has evaluations on hearing aids on other information?
She has already been to an audiologist and I know that Miracle Ear only sells their own brand. So in order for anyone to help me, I need to know if anyone has had any experience with Miracle Ear and if it was a good or bad experience, why.
